so i went into petco last weekend to buy some gravel for my new 70 gallon and a few feeders for what's in my 29 gallon, and i noticed they've got 2 albino oscars up for adoption. immediately i claimed them, and they made me wait 3 days to get them. those 3 days passed because i don't have a driver's license (suspended) and couldn't find a ride...so today when i got a ride i went in and picked them up, along with a firemouth. they're nothing special, about 3 inches in length...just thought it was awesome to get some free fish :headbang2

can't wait til this dang 70 gallon is finished cycling so i can throw them in there.

i'll post pics of the 70 as soon as i have it all set up and ready and going. it's pretty cool...it's the headboard of my bed

You can use Bio Spiro of the new stuff from seachem and put fish in right away without having to go through new tank.

yea i have some of that stuff....it smells like rotten eggs dipped in horse dung. but i need to wait until next week when i can buy a heater for the tank, it's at 71 degrees right now, along with the rest of my apartment

Make shure you keep it in the fridge untill then or it won't be any good...also if you have some fish in there now you will need to drain it to be shure there is no amonia in the tank or it will kill the bacteria.

not sure what i'll get, it's either a 70 or 75 gallon tank. didnt see any heaters at petco today that would work well with that size....so probably 2 smaller ones.....HD plant?

two smaller heaters is always a better option just incase one packs up u have some back up at hand.
