No such thing as true FW moray..........add salt (brackish) and it will excel..........2' is def a monster!!
KUDOs on getting one of these eels to such an impressive size. That's the biggest I've seen in decades.

for some reason, its only the people online who stick so hard on the "there not freshwater, make sure you add salt". my friend had one of these for over 3 years in complete freshwater and it was probably almost 30" when he finally sold it. awesome eel man, he looks great.

Better than getting sold to the guy who wanted to feed it flakes though. Didn't eat for over 2 months. Currently is in a 20 long With a free reef light I got. About 78 degree. (best I can do at the moment) Only thing he'll eat is raw market shrimp. Won't even touch the ghost shrimp I have there. SPG is a little under 1.012. My hygrometer sucks.
He has white poop though...Internal parisite? What should I do for him?
mine is close to 24" I bet I barely see him though I will have to try and get him in a smaller tank to take a pic
