Hey guys I finally got my 220 gallon set up and running. I am now choosing a stocking. I'm stuck between 2 different stocking ideas:

10- f1 kigoma frontosa (8female 2male)
2-marble mini ray pups

I really like the idea of the rays more because I love rays, but I want what is best for the fish. Would you think I would be okay with the 2 marble minis in the 220? This tank is a 6x2x30".
I have the 2 fx6 canisters and loaded with biohome ultimate, and also a large sponge filter inside and plenty of air. Id do 30-50% water changes once a week.

And some may say I should sumped the tank. But it's just not in my cards to do right now, not until I move into a new house and have more room/ permanent set ups. Plus I scored the 2 fx6's brand new for 400$.

Any input would be great! Thankyou guys!

If they’re true “mini’s”, I don’t see an issue with the setup as long as you’re committed to frequent large water changes. The only issue is determining if they’re true “mini’s”. There aren’t that many around

Surprisingly they are. The guy I'd be buying them from has been breeding and selling rays for years. Ill try and post pics if it'll let me. Theyre kinda pricey though. I had to talk him into letting me buy his only female he got from his breeding pair. He wants 1400 for both of them. One male and one female. The ones with not so great pattern is of course the pups. Others are his breeders.
