2" grammodes from Wet Spot PDX (cell phone pics)

Decided to change things up a little. Gave my RD to a friend, moved my jag to the 125 by himself, and made a trip to the Wet Spot in Portland, OR. I picked up (3) 2 inch grammodes to make sure I got a male for my 55g. The biggest one is for sure a male. The other two look like a male and a female to me. These guys are not shy at all, and are eating a ton. Here are some crappy cell phone pics of the biggest one, just starting to show some color. Feel free to add some pics of yours. Thanks guys. They are very fun to watch. A lot of flaring and chasing going on for 2" fish! Now I just gotta wait for my jag to get out of his funk. All that room now, but he just wants to hide.

Nice pick up. i have a male grammodes (about 7") and he's tough as hell. Awesome species.

Well, here's a few update pics almost a month later. Do I have a male and female here? Usually the one that i think is female stays kind of dark and the male swims around it in circles flaring and showing off. Male is starting to get some nice forehead and trailers going. These two are a little less than 2.5", the other one has hardly grown at all. If it ever does try to eat one of the other two will chase it away before it can even open its mouth.

i just got a 1" from ken and he is pretty cool. i am impressed by how fast he got used to me, like within two hours he stopped swimming away when i walked up to the tank.
