Ok I cant decide whether to use 2 overflows on my 75 gallon or not so I will take a poll.

Its going to be a fowlr tank (yeah my wife wants me to start a saltwater tank again

ugh!)

It will have a 30 gallon sump/refugium and although it would be nice to have the two overflows I'm worried about it being too loud (they are eshopps hob).

On the other hand, it would be extra surface skimming and work as a backup incase a snail or some coraline algae gets sucked up and sucked in the u-tube.

1 Overflow at 800gph?

2 Overflows total 1600gph?

do you realize that the overflows themselves wont change the circulation in the tank... right?

if you keep the same pump you're intending to use you're just wasting money getting another overflow

Yes I do realize that. Not wasting money as I already have the overflow from another tank. Although I wont be getting a new pump I currently have my pump scaled back with a ball valve so now I can run it with no restrictions.
