I just picked up 2 female red zebra's from my local fish store, and both are holding so I put them both in a spare 10 gallon I had laying around. my question is, will it be ok for both to be in the same tank, and will they realease they fry or will they hold it in because of the other female in the tank?????

I would say you mite want to put them in diffrent tank....and you mite want to go back to the fish store to locate the male that was providing both these girls with sperm. They wont spit them out until they are ready to go or she goes in shock

the male was sold already...............and is it ok if i put a divider and split the 10 gallon, I k now when fish are holding they dont swim very much.........

Huh?

Zebra what's, BTW.

I have 2 red zebra cichlids..............both are female....................both are holding..................

Oh, gotcha.

You can split the tank with a divider just fine. You should separate them because they will probably fight in such tight quarters. Also, make sure the tank was all red zebras or you could have two batches of little hybrids on your hands.
