Is it possible that two different kinds of knife fish in one aquarium? For example a clownknife and a black ghost knife? Wont their electric waves contract?

The electric waves are just used to locate one another, etc., it wont be a big deal. I've kept multiple species together; it all depends on their aggression. (I could have been a lot more detailed with that, but I'm feelin a little lazy today, lol, my apologies)
BGK and Clown Knives have been kept together with no problems. Same with BGKs and African Knives. Currently I'm keeping 2 Clown Knives with a Carapo Knife with no problems, which is a big surprise to me actually, lol.

CKs don't have EDO like BGKs. The only Notopteridae family member that I know of that has some type of EDO are the African Brown Knife (Xenomystus Nigri).

And yes...it is possible to keep different Knife species together. A CK and BGK would work (depending on space and personality). I've had an Albino CK and BGK together for awhile. I ended up moving the BGK to the bigger tank.
