Looking at doing 2 48x96x20" acrylic tanks.
Base and sides will be 1/2" thick. Top will be a single 4x8 sheet, 3/4" thick. I know I could get away with 3/8" thick on the base but the difference for the whole sheet is $61 so it's really not worth saving IMO.
Should be overkill right?
Based on that, I believe the material list for the pair of tanks should be:
2 48x96 bases = 2 4x8 black 1/2" sheets
2 48x96 tops = 2 4x8 clear 3/4" sheets
2 20x96 backs = 1 4x8 black 1/2" sheet
2 20x96 fronts = 1 4x8 clear 1/2" sheet
4 20x48 sides = 1 4x8 clear 1/2" sheet
