2 Leichardtis in same tank?

any info on the possibility of 2 leis getting along in same tank?has anyone done it? have 5 silvers together fine and had 2 blacks together get along fine,now 3,but im thinkin of tryin 2 maybe 3 leis.any input?maybe im coming off dumb i dont know.figured cant hurt to ask.

Nothing wrong with attempting as long as you have the means to separate if needed. No experience with the leis myself.

you could try its 50/50 chance,i just know 2-3 aro comm isnt easy and have extra tank rdy,i have 1 silver,1black,1african,1jar,1 lei together

I also want to attempt this but also with a stingray. I think we would have a better chance if we start putting them together young. Also maybe comming 3 leis instead of 2 to avoid one being dominant towards the other.

I have seen a comm. tank with 3 leis, but probably better to stick with a group of 5 minimum to spread out the aggression. Wouldn't risk it with a group of 2.

It could work, if you keep the Leis with the blacks and silvers, to distract them from fighting. I had two Leis together with my blacks, African arowanas and other fish (top pic.) I also had a Lei and a Jar together with my blacks, African arowanas, and other fish (bottom pic.) Just make sure you have another tank, in case they fight, but with more fish together, it could work.
