I have a 14" lima shovelnose cat and just today i bought another 8"-9" Lima, they seem alright together, but i am worrying about when the lights go out.Do you guys think that this will work out ok??Thanks.

expect some battles for the first few days, a week tops. i put 2 together closer in size and the larger one tore up the smallers fins pretty good but now they don't bother each other unless its a mini fight over food. thats my experience

ive seen more than one together on a few ocasins.
i think your good after teh first few days.

Quite common. If size is comparable I see no problem

They actually hunt in packs in the wild, and I did have three together til one got eaten by the jau I had last year(long story). They never fought other than pushing each other a little. My biggest is 16.5" and the other one with him is 12". No problems in 2 years. Going to add my 7" one when it hits 9" or so.

LIke neocranis said, they school when hunting, so you should be ok with two. I've heard its pretty cool watching a school of these guys together.

They will be fine might psh each other around and as a result become a little bit stressed at most there incapible of hurting each other though
