I just bought 2 male bettas for breeding. I have my 10 gallons with a clear divider divide into 2, 5 gallon parts. My question is, they can see eachother and flare at eachother. I put some plants along the divider to break the line of sight but its still able to see eachother. They don't see eachother forever, but could this cause stress and death? It won't be forever. Probably a few months.

It'll cause a little stress but this will actually keep it in shape, float the female in a cup and they'll both see The female and start building bubble nest.feed them good quality food and same for the female ,her stomach will start to get fat

Here's a pic of the tank. I have a female in a small 1 gal but it's not the on I will use for breeding. I'm getting 2 hm females. But I can place her tank outside the tank against it so they can see her. I used to breed her.
