are those minnows in there with them? i would just keep the Ps in there.do not risk transferring disease.keep water clean and stable.they do grow slower than some.but they will grow..if you want to feed live food get a separate tank for feeders and raise them your self.no disease that way.what size tank is that?homemade? looks good....

started out with six, they have now cannibalized there brothers and sisters down to two, this pair is extremely aggressive but seem to tolerate eachother so far

i just bought 3 rbp at my local aquarium and they are all quite small, i can tell i'm giogn to be using this forum quite frequently :)

i got caught up in the excitement of this, i have 3 very very small rbp's and they are together in a 10 gallon for the time being, i setup my tank and filter/heater etc and let it run for about 24 hours and stabilize water temp right at a consistent 80 degrees F before putting my fish in. i put a very small guppy in just to see there initial reaction to it, and it was eaten within 20 minutes of being placed in. i keep my feeders in a small unheated, untreated fish bowl seperate from my rbp's, this is hopefully a good sign of things to come with them being accomodating of the food i feedt hem.
