2 new babys!!

went to petsmart they had 3 clown knives i picked up 2 healthy ones and was looking for 2 baby bichirs but they were less than 1" so i was like nahhh

the clown knives are both 1 " and i got them last night i fed them each half a black worm today and they gulped it down wooooot

Walmart has the same thing with the bichirs...they're usually no thicker than the lead of a #2 pencil and roughly an inch in size. They're cute and all...but 90% of the ones they bring in croak before they can sell them. It's sad.
They also sell ck that are maybe 1.5-2". I got one not too long ago that wasn't doing very well in their tank. Took him home and he's the king of the tank now (still @ about 2"...but his only tankmate is a chinese algae eater.)

It's sad the conditions they live in. My Walmart here puts the knives in with the irridecent sharks and balas. Then they feed the freeze dried bloodworms and expect there to be some left over for the knives after the sharks are done with it. Well, I think I've ranted and raved enough for one post at least...
