Hey guys (=
What i did is probably against the common opinion in here.
But i just got two new piranhas in my 56 g fish tank. So i now have 3.
I've heard about a guy who was selling his oscar and snakesheads but he was giving away his 2 piranhas for free, because they were sick.
So i went to his home and saw them, they were both laying on the gravel, did not even move when i picked them up. ( He had 1 oscar and a 2 snakehead and 2 piranhas in a small tank, probably 20 gallons.
So i took them home and placed them in the bottom of my tank, they were both very pale and was laying on the gravel.
But as you can see on the pictures, they are doing fine, and they eat well. One of them had no fins and the tail was half gone.
I know that you are thinking 56 gallons is too small, but i am pretty sure i will get an 100 + g in about a year. So i think it could work.
