I have heard that jaguar cichlid can be kept with oscars if all the fish are introduced early, so cam my oscars live with a jaguar cichlid in a 125 ( the jag I want to get is 1 inch ill grow him out to about half the size if the oscars).

Not for life, maybe for a little while

What size tank would I need for them
For life I’d say an 8ft tank minimum, but there’s no guarantee that will work. it’s possible that the 125 would work although it’s unlikely. There’s no absolutes in this game, so if you want two Oscar’s and a jag, start them off small in the 125, and just be prepared to upgrade when the 125 is no longer big enough. Even if they do turn out to get a long in a 125, you’re looking 50-80% WCs 3-4 times a week
Basically know what you’re getting into and have a plan

Is it mainly because of aggression that I would need a bigger tank size or just size

Aggression, territory and bioload and swimming space. Oscars can get 15” or more and i believe jags get 15-18” or more. The 125 may work for a decent amount of time though
