Max has been swimming around his tank looking madder than usual tonight hahaha actually it is looking like he is about to loose another fang, it's been taking awhile for this tooth so he is looking cooler than usual tonight.

My heart sunk when I thought this was a for sale thread. Now I am happy to see he's been stuffing his face.
Payara is not quite 2' and in a 300 gallon 8'X30"24". He did not like his 720 because of center overflow messed up his swimming.
Hope to get him going in a bigger tank this summer 8X4'X2.5'. He grew up always by himself so he is a true apex predator and seems to not tolerate other fish at all.

Great specimen. I swore there are some leftover teeth mixed into the substrate of my tank left my old Armatus. 
Nice Armatus, funny you mentioned for sale post. My friend here in Shanghai is looking to get rid of two 18" specimens.. You wouldn't believe at the price they go for here. $120 usd each lol!!
Truly awesome. One day in the near future I'll get another armatus, not really an option right now in my current living situation.
