2 pbass dead

well it all started when i bought a tsn catfish
and i had 3 baby mono pbass that i got a great deal on
so i put them in a growout of a 55
then the next week or so i got a tiger shovel nose
the catfish being a quarter of an inch bigger than the pbass
well the next morning i woke up to see the tsn's belly HUGE
it ate 2 pbass and a convict cichlid!!!
its friken amazing how they do that

o ya and it was just insane because i have a ton of random smaller cichlids in theyre
like jewels jack dempseys and convicts
and i love how he picks the biggest and best ones outa the 20 other fish that are in theyre with him

never mix hungry cat fish with a HUGE mouth and small pbass

I hear that. The cool one goes first. There are still two tilapias (and various feeders swiming around) while RTC chooses to munch a rather large arapaima ... lesson learned.

I think, with catfish you really need to have a significantly larger tank mate (but then again mine does not eat Oscar for some reason....age?)

Sorry about your p. basses, those woulda grown out nicely
