seems my bass like to bounce off the rocks.
is this normal?i cant see ick or anything like that.

and should i always leave some guppys in the tank?
or every couple days put some in?

Sounds like their itching/scratching themselves. If it happens a good bit they may be coming down with itch. What are your water paramaters like? Temp, ammonia, nitrates, nitrites?

temps at 82 thats all i know at the moment

Sometimes fish also rub to show dominance or mark their territory just keep an eye on them. If they show no other symptoms of disease I would say your fine.

If you do see some ICK just raise the temp to about 87 and add some aquarium salt for a week
