2 questions...

1 can i use a tank that was used for saltwater for fw fish?
and i have a 60g acrylic sump with a bunch of pink crap all over it and some white stuff 2 how do i get it off?
its a sump so i dont care about scratches....

if i cant clean off all of the oink stuff will it affect my acidic fw fish?

Ya just clean it out and you can use it for fresh water. I would try a scrubbing pad at first nothing to harsh to scratch the heck out of it. Some people use viniger

i scratched the sump with a razor blade but didnt get it all its caked on like crazy!
want to clean it super fast so i can get my tank running

so will it be a problem if i run the sump with some crap still on it or is that a bad idea?

You can run it with some stuff still on the sides of the tank. My main tank use to be salt water. The build up was not too bad on it. I have not had any problems
