1. Is it safe to use hot-glue in freshwater tanks? I have two pieces of Slate (i think its slate) that I want to hot-glue together to make a little cave. As far as I know, hot-glue and super-glue are safe to use as long as its completely dry.

2. What is this snail doing? First time iv seen anything like it.

Pics of both questions included.

I was told hot glue was safe to use. I have some rocks hot glued in two of my aquariums. The rocks in my avatar are hot glued. The fish and shrimp in those tanks are still good and healthy.

I could be wrong, but it almost looks like Mr. Snail is sticking out his... er... man bit. I could be totally wrong though :p

The snail is becoming a h**ker and wanting money to take back the rich married snails to her little house and ruin their lives forever. Call the snail police you have a prostitute snail in your tank!

I would not recommend using hot glue. There are a number of aquarium products that are safe and recommended for using. There are 2 part epoxys that are more reliable for your tank. They will even cure in the tank.
