Hi,

anybody keeping 2 silver aro in a tank?
i currently have a 20 inch silver in my 8 footer tank. its used to be housed with some asian aros. but sold the asian aros. planning to get another silver aro a little smaller and comm with her.

anybody here keeping 2 silvers together?

thanks.

ok so you sold the asians and kept the silvers......:screwy:
ummmmm you can try the 2 silvers.. just try and make sure the second ones around the same size as your first one.

These two have been together for a year now.

lol :) got rid of my asians since i've had water/tank problems for more than a month, ended up with only my silver. :) now i still have 2 asians , but they are in a separate tank :D

bro Bderick67 ,

your silvers are really nice. how did you introduce them?

I just put both into the tank at the same time. I had failed attempts earlier with one of them and a black aro and another silver. Not sure there is a sure fire way to do it, mostly just luck. Make sure if you do attempt that you have a divider or another tank on hand. They can destroy each other pretty quick.

thanks, Last night i brought home an 18 inch silver.
tried putting them together, the new one is 4 inches smaller and only half as thick as my old silver. the old one bullied the new one, so i have a divider between them for now.
I'mm try to post pictures of my old and new silver. the new one has damaged jaw, maybe due to kumping from previous owner, but i think it should heal quickly.
