silvers are best kept one to a tank, correct?
and what if they are different sizes?

someone in my area is selling a 12" for $20 (pretty hard to turn down, I KNOW) but i already have one at about 7"

personally i'd go for it, i had 2 silvers together before and getting ready to transfer 3 silvers to my new tank in a month or so after cycling is complete

Sould be okay long as you've got the room for those guy's. If you've got a pond or plan to upgrade to one it'll be fine. Adult Silvers are no Joke and those big scales make it hard for Silvers to make tight turns. So you don't need depth as much as length and width.

It's hit and miss, no exact formula to getting them to co habitate. I have two silvers together, though the one I raised from 3" had 2 previous failed atempts when it was smaller. You will need to have some means of seperating the 2 silvers if you atempt this, so either another tank or a divider.

Ive got a couple of silvers in my 280gal no worries at all, one is almost half again the size of the smaller one, but the smaller one is more aggressive which is funny to see as he is the boss, they used to fight but now after establishing the hierarchy they live together now nicely.
