2 subtrate types

anyone here use 2 substrates in the tank?

i'm just setting up a 100gal, and i'm trying it. on one side i got balck, and on the other i got this red rock looking round gravel. it looks kinda odd, but nothing is in there except water.

does anyone else have 2 different colors of substate?

photos would be cool too.

Did you use a piece of glass or acrylic to seperate the two substrates?

Since I think all you plan on keeping in the aquarium are channa species which ususally don't dig, you wont have any worries of mixing the substrates.

Are you planning on making it look like two aquariums in one(two different landscapes)?
