I have two new little freddies and I am almost certain they are two different sexes, but would love to ask someone with experience keeping them what they think. I included two fuzzy pictures if they help but I am probably better off explaining each fish and it's demeanor as detailed as possible.

The larger of the fishes has much larger and darker face markings as well as a generally darker base color. It has dark spots below its gill plate, almost under it's chin, and you can see spotting all throughout it's fins. It is super aggressive, and has already killed a similar sized trimac, which didn't exactly make me proud.

The smaller one is just the opposite, lighter in every regard, a much more white base and less markings in general. It's facial "parachromis markings" take up far less a percentage of it's face, drastically smaller than its tank mate, even considering it's slightly smaller size. It's timid and gives ground up to the larger fish without a fight.

Both fish have an irridescent color around their facial markings and I can pick up slight reddish maybe orange hues in the face.

I realize that it's a bit early to make an accurate call but if anyone would like to take an educated guess I would appreciate it. I realize that the coloration could just be a part of a same sex dominance issue, rather than sex, but I personally am pretty convinced from watching and studying them that it is sexual. Please throw your hat in the ring for kicks, I probably won't grow both out, so the earlier I know which is which the better. Thanks for your time.
