I took 3 videos...the first video is just the tank before the feeding. then one of me outside the tank and the second one with me inside the tank (theres a tunnel you can crawl through to get in the middle of it) BE SURE TO WATCH THEM IN 1080 HD :) Thanks

Man, that is so cool! What kind of gar are in there and how big are they? Some look like they are longnose gar.
What are those fish with the long long flat snout called? They are in the beginning of the first video.
 
The paddle fish are awesome, plz tell us how u feed them and if possible a video of them feeding with open mouths :D Amazing videos and a great looking aquarium. I would love to have a tank this big ( I know it's a public aquarium I'm just saying it would be awesome to have one )
 
This is at the Discovery Park Of America. They feed them 3 times a week. I imagine it does cost a lot though. I will soon have video of the filtration system.

I never ever ever see healthy North American Natives kept in public set ups. The water always seems murky, and the HITH and other obvious internal parasites are always so apparent. I wonder why this is. I'm sure its not from lack of trying.
 
Farm raised paddle fish eat pellets and/or whatever else you give them. The farms intentionally raise them on pellets in order to facilitate feeding.
