20,000+ New Fish Arrived Today!!!

The pics aren't coming out worth spit. I have several flathead catfish and blue catfish egg masses that hatched today. Should have another 20-30,000 more within the next 24-48 hours.

Sweet.. just by question how do you move that many fish??? Gotta be hard to sell/get rid of 30k catfish..

Congrats a boat load of fish.

Collected the eggs during grabblin/noodlin season. The parents are caught to grace someone's barbecue.

The bulk of these fry will go towards stocking local farm ponds. But, I'll be holding on to a bunch.

They look like tadpoles! lol

I put one of the flathead catfish (Pylodictus olivaris) egg masses in a 55 to monitor it as a control for the egg masses being incubated in opaque bins. All of them have begun hatching. Here's a pic of the egg mass and a couple of the fry:
