20-30gal drum filter

im gunna be putting together a filter made from a 20-30 gal. drum for my pond. Are there any good diagrams that will help me along the way? i cant figuer out how to put it together or where the pump should go etc.

is this filter going to be above, level or underneath your pond?

well the pond is outside, so its prolly gunna be half burried. and its a inground liner pond, so im looking to have a return that is similar to a gold mining trough.

i just need a diagram of how things go inside of it, should the pump be inside it or outside (in the pond)?

Use a diagram from existing pond filters. Try and copy thier design a bit or mod yours a tad.
