20 gal long planted stockin

Just picked up this 20 long from petcos $1 per gal sale. Im lovin the dimensions on this.i decided to do planted. I had a cuple of thoughts on stockin, one wuld be a couple of south american leaf fish. Just saw them and really liked them, there difrent froom my other stuff. My second thought would be pretty heavily stocked with a bn, cories, a convict, tiger barbs, and maybe a couple of hatchetfish? What do you think? What tankmates could go with the leaffish? Also i dont have a filter so any sugestions would be great as i want to overfilter it. Thanks

Amazonian, like swords, mosses, and lookin for a short grass that i can make a carpet like effect with sugestions? Sorry my first planted tank

For a HOB, an AquaClear 50 filter would work. Or you can go with a small canister filter.

I bought 3 20 longs. 2 small planted betta communities. Betta with platys. Then in other neons with dwarf frogs. I think in 3rd I may do small cichlid pair. Though I am addicted to bettas
