20 gallon cichlid tank

so here's the scoop.

i have recently acquired my old 20 gallon tank back from my pops.

its empty, cleaned, and ready for a new inhabitant(s).

i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on fish.

preferably one solitary fish.

is there any cichlid you guys/gals know or would recommend for this set up?

something with the personality of the big brute glass bangers, but with a size suitable for a standard 20 gallon tank...

u could do a sunfish? those dudes will gobble up everything, just get one the right size most r pretty aggressive

I have an electric blue crayfish in my 20 gallon, and I can't find anything cooler than him to put in there


I wouldn't recommend a solitary cichlid in a 20...

I have a convict pair in mine, my male thinks he's a little Midas. I love him.

i'd go female convict because they stay smaller and are more colorful. i have a 1.2"er in my 10G and if she out grows it ill move her to my 26 bow front

yeah thanks for the input guys...im leaning towards a convict pair...havent had a male con for a while and i kinda miss their rambunctiousness
