In the process of setting up a planted 20H. Ive got a 24"Curent LED light Id like to use but Im not certain it will be appropriate to sustain live plants. The LEDs consume 10 Watts at 6500K. I understand 6500 is ideal but Im not sure being that wattage is so low. Has anyone used this light on a planted tank?? Any suggestions/advice is appreciated.

Lighting for a planted tank is measured by PAR (photosynthetically active radiation), your fixture should give you around 35-42 PAR which is enough to grow low light to medium light plants. Basically put, anubias & java ferns to swords and vals; You should be fine with the fixture.
