Hi guys I have a spare 20 gallon long fish tank with 2 dome lights and a screen cover. Can anybody suggest an animal that could be kept in this tank? Thanks

Apparently a Hog Island boa constrictor could do quite well in a 20-long. I was a little skeptical when the dude I bought mine from told me this, but I asked David Barker and he said yeah, if it needed anything bigger, it probably wouldn't be for a very long time.

Sorry, I don't know what the dimensions of this tank would be?
Does it have to be a snake?

you could keep a pair of leopard geckos in there, or maybe even some pygmy chameleons.

if i were you i would visit aqualandpetsplus.com and look at some of their awesome reptile articles.

Oh gosh, I hate aqualandpetsplus's articles.... I read a lot of them, and half of their animals they cant even identify. Im not even sure why I went through a lot of them, but I did, and found their accomodations disgusting and appaling for nearly all their animals. That and I couldnt find a single article that didnt recommend feeder goldfish to a reptile.

Anyway, just about any terrestrial gecko out there could work. A hognose snake, rat/corn/king/milk snake of *almost* any kind, or a fire skink could work nicely. I just wouldnt recommend something that needs a lot of humidity for a glass tank/screen top, but it can be done.

Good luck!

Thanks for all of the advice guys. Chameleons would work for this tank? They sound really cool! Does anybody have any care information on them?
