So my 30 gallon turned out to be a FH growout tank.
My LFS will buy him/her when gets elder. He is quite active.

So to the topic!
I'm getting a 20 high tank and want to do a planted one.
My questions are:
If i densely plant it, have a filter made for a 30 gallon and do 30-50% WC weekly, how many of each fish can i get?
Cardinal Tetras, Harlequin Rasbora's and shrimp? Idea for shrimp?
Open to other fish suggestions too
And do you'll have "keeping freshwater plant" links? Would help alot.

Thank You

I wouldn't do shrimp aside from amano shrimp with those fish, shrimp are a little harder to care for than fish and even aside from that shrimp don't do super well with those fish (they become snacks).

Personally, I'd do only 6 or so cardinals and 6 or so harlequins in a 20 gallon tall, maybe get some pygmy cories for the bottom of the tank if you want some activity down there.

Plant keeping is another story though. I'd suggest learning about low tech tanks with soil substrate and how to grow low light plants. Thing with planted tanks is that they are all about the balance between your lights, your nutrients, and your available carbon, and you can't have a lot of light without adding extra carbon in the form of dissolved co2. And that gets expensive.
