For Sale: pseudopimelodus cephalosilurus apurensis $175 SoCal 91306 San Fernando Valley, Pick up only. A female of the species, raised from 5" to 20" in 2 1/2 years, she's outgrown the confines of a 60G bowfront tank, looking for a good home in a 200G or larger tank. Maximum size for these fish is around 24", she'll likely grow about an inch a year from now on. Raised mostly on feeder goldfish but now also eats nightcrawlers, silversides, bonito, striped bass, albacore and tilapia fillets and likely other items I've yet to try. She is becoming more interactive lately and can be touched and hand fed. Most often they are kept alone but others have kept them with other fish of similar size with no problems. There's really good info on the species to be found on ScotCat in the articles section and on PlanetCatfish as well. Here's some pic's........
