Here are some shots from my 20g long, with a convict and an EBJD(Who will be moved to a 75g as he grows)

I think i got lucky with mine. He eats well, he has really colored up, he's not very skittish, and is growing.

yeah if you have a tank for him than go for it, just treat him right away for parasites with jungle clear (all 3 treatments) and you will be fine also try to choose the most outgoing at the store and you wont regret it

sweet grow out tank by the way what will his eventual tankmates be?

I'm not sure yet. Probably 3 senegal bichirs and maybe a severum. People suggested a few blue acaras, so I'm considering those, instead of the severum. The convicts staying in the 20g probably

oh ok cool i think i would go for a severum, can get one with alot more color than acaras have

Yeah, the LFS has a large (I want to say fully grown, but idk for sure) severum for $35 that I would buy but then the EBJD would have to stay in the growout longer so he could be big enough to stand his ground against the severum.
