$20 Red Texas

Hello, just got my hands on a very nice red Texas from a local breeder for a very good price, he or she is about 5 inches and lives in a 90 gallon with a few carpentis and a blood parrot

Just an update a month later, the black has faded away I’m assuming less stressed but the orange has also faded abit, about an inch bigger and starting to get very aggressive with fellow tank mates, not sure male or female yet, very long fins though

Good looking fish you got there. The structure of it is screaming male in my eyes... you just need to vent it or let it pair up with something to be sure.

Thank you I’m very happy with the progress so far lol the body shape is really starting to develop nicely

Really pretty male. How is his temperament?
That caudal fin is fat and nice, makes me believe this guy will have a nice boxy shape when mature.
