My 13" male flower is breathing very heavy, I added more flow and an airstone to the tank last night but he is still "panting" while none of my other rays are. I fear the problem is some kind of parasite affecting the gills.
I would like to treat with prazi but I am nervous it will harm my Tig.
I also added salt last night, with no help.

anyone have any suggestions????

I have used prazipro with all the rays that I have gotten from the wild. There were small tigs and jurense in the tank as well. They all were fine while I owned them

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP MFK! (minus john)
either way, I did a 75% WC, dosed with prazi pro and turned all the lights off, he seems to actually be relaxing a bit and is moving about the tank actively. breathing is still heavy and the slightest bit of his disk in the back is curled (however, I've seen alot of rays "rest" this way so I'm hoping it's just that..)
I have my fingers crossed..
any other suggestions are more than welcomed...

have you tested your water params ?? just because everything else is ok doesn't mean something might not be going on...... just a precaution and doesn't hurt ;)
