My dad might be letting me have 3 of his tanks to take back to Alberta with me. Two 20's and a 5. These tanks are at least 20 years old and furthermore they'll have to survive a 36 hour drive across Canada over a distance of 3500km (2174mi). I"ll be strapping them to a trailer along with my motorcycle. I have some thick foam padding that can be set underneath the tanks but other then the tarp covering them they'll be pretty much exposed to the elements.
Will the silicone seals be intact when I get there? I've had to reseal my 90 in the past and my god that's I job I never want to do again.
I was planing on using the 5 for raising fry and the two 20's I'm not sure yet.
