200 DD?

Well I'm going to pick up the 200 gallon DD tank. Comes with a 75g sump, never used a sump before, and stand and canopy. would I be able to keep my fire eel in their for life? Only stock I have for tank right now is 1 fire eel, was sick when I ordered but he is better now, and 1 lap bichir. I wanna keep the fire eel the main attraction, but maybe get a few more bichirs if I can. Just wondering on what kind of fish I could put in for middle top of tank, school of anything? Thanks in advance, any advice is welcome

I can't comment on the eel, but those are pretty cool demensions. You definately can stuff a bunch of bichirs in there.

Awesome. It was saltwater, do I need to clean it super well, or will a little salt not hurt?

Yeah I'm gonna have to lol but there is like saltwater crap in behind the corner flo that's gonna be a pain to get out. I got most off the back of tank with razor, I'm paining my basement wall tomorrow and will probably get stuff for sump this weekend. Never did a sump so this will be fun

Mix up vinegar and some water in a spray bottle and go nuts. It works wonders breaking down salt creep and misc sw algae.
