200 gallon glass -reseal it or EXPAND it?!

Hey guys,
Got a deal on a glass 200 that needs resealed. $100 and it is mine. 84" x 24"w x 24"h. Since I am basically going to have to reseal the whole thing anyway what do you guys think about me buying a bigger base and longer sides to make it 84 x 36(or 42)w x 24h? Where could I get the trim or frame done for something like this and about how expensive would it be? Anyone know of a manufacturer that might even do it for me close to Tampa, FL? I priced 1/2" plate glass from glass cages.com and for the 36"w setup it would cost approx. $300 and for the 42" wide it would cost $350 both figures are without shipping of course. Either would be sweet footprints if you ask me, but what does everyone think?

I think you will have as much into it by the time you replace 3 of the 5 peices of glass and get the frame reworked as you would to just buy or build from scratch.

The only way to make this a deal would be to just reseal it.

thanks the1andonly,
I am just going to reseal it as I found out the only scary thing that happened was the the tope center braces silicone came apart which caused the tank to bow but didn't break the seal on any of the corners. I plan on keeping the water level between 3-6" below the top to keep floating plants and possibly amphibians or a turtle in the tank which should lessen the load a bit
