I still have to wrap the front and make doors but just seeing what your all thoughts and opinions are as far as the construction goes?

I like it. It it were me, I would add a couple of horizontal joiners between some of the vertical legs, also attached to the flat bottom.
The other thing I would consider is placing several well positioned horizontal 2x4s underneath the whole thing, so that the whole thing is slightly raised and so any spillage does not accumulate underneath but instead dryes quickly by ventilation. Otherwise the bottom can begin to rot.

What keeps some of those vertical 2x4's from wobbling around? Any reason you didn't put a piece of plywood on the top of the stand?

Other than that it looks good.

I agree with the suggestion for cross bracing and also look forward to seeing it up and running

Here is the bottom plate the the tank sets in. This allows for air flow as well as draining in the event of a leak.

The black board that’s on top of the stand is 1/2” particleboard that is laminated. It was the original from the stand.

I also picked up a 40gal sump that fits perfectly under the stand. It’s a little smaller than I would have liked but the deal was right and this tank will house my 19” pleco and a few babies. I’ll primarily use this tank for a grow out tank before moving them to my main tank. E9E3A9E7-9B57-496C-B211-EC3754EE0381.jpeg
