Hi guys just got a large 200 gallon setup as an upgrade for my Oscar who has been in a 55 gallon for a long time. I'm finally going to give him some tank mates and what im thinking is:
Oscar, 5x Silver Dollars, Geophagus and a Rainbow Shark.
Just wondering what you guys think about a setup like this, thanks :)

Congrats on the upgrade always a fun time!

Stocking do geophagus keep the bottom clean enough to not need scavengers? I have never kept them so I don't know

Never kept them either so i'm not sure, I thought that the Rainbow Shark would also help scavenge on the bottom.

Sounds good! Not sure if a full grown Oscar could make a meal out of a shark though. Should be fine, but you never know.

Geophagus aren’t really scavengers, but they try to dig for anything they could eat and would spit out chunks of poop, making it easier for filters to pick it up.
