okay i am setting up a new tank its about 200 gallon. its pre drilled for 4 2" bulkheads. my plans is too use 2 for overflow to a 60 gallon trough cap 1 and use the last one for water changes. i was given a large pool pump that i am thinking of using. its very similar to this one http://www.backyardpoolsuperstore.com/Hayward-Easy-Clear-C550-Filter-Pump-System_p_9987.html . the sump will have mechanical and biological, then i thought i would fill the basket with filter floss and then the large canister with pot scrubbres. and finally before it returns to the tank it goes through another filter like this. http://homebreweczema.ideasmatter.org/images/dechlorinator/dechlorinator4.jpg. do you think this is to pump.i also thought of having the pump in my garage which is only about 6 feet from the tank. thanks

i meant to ask is this a bad idea or too puch pump. i was hoping to add more breeder tanks to this pump in the future so it will basically be pumping my fish room. thanks

Those pumps are easy to fix (work for a pool company) those pumps are made to handle pools up to 20,000 gallons.
