I'm giving MFK Members a first shot at this before I officially post my ad on Craigslist:
For sale is a white 2005 Mazda MPV LX with only 81.5K miles on it and in perfect running condition. Transmission is 5-speed automatic and engine is a gas-saving 3.0 liter DOHC V6 rated at 200HP. Factory-installed upgrades include Quad seating (4 captain chairs), fog lights, privacy glass, rear A/C, alloy wheels and roof rack with cross bars.
Other standard features include: Variable intermittent wipers, read defogger, 4-wheel ABS, child seat anchors, disc breaks, front airbags, electronic brakeforce distribution, driver-side lumbar support and height adjustable seat, 2nd row seat slide sideways to form a bench, 3rd row bench chair which folds flat on the floor, remote power door locks, power mirrors, 1-touch power windows, cruise control, front, rear and 3rd row cup holders, overhead console with dual sun glass storage, power steering, tilt adjustable steering wheel, audio and cruise control on steering wheels, interior air filtration, cargo area light, front reading lights, dual illuminating vanity mirrors, 100-watts 6 speakers with AM/FM single CD player stereo.
Brand new Bridgestone tires on all 4 wheels ($500) just installed at Costco about a month ago. Also just replaced the following engine parts that have worn out over time: spark plugs, ignition coils and idle control valve (about $1K) - so the engine is running like brand new.
We have always parked this car in our garage and have done all maintenance on schedule. I am planning to bring the car to a detailing shop to get the interior shampooed and vacuumed this week. The picture attached is not the actual MPV though it looks almost the same, I have not had the time to take pictures yet and will do so after I get the it cleaned.
Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com) estimated the private party price of the Mazda MPV with all the above upgrades at $8,600. This does not take into account the brand new tires and brand new parts I replaced which are all worth another $1,500.
Just in case you are wondering why we are selling the van - this is because my wife recently decided to buy herself a Honda Odyssey to celebrate our 10th year wedding anniversary.
I'm planning to list the car for $8,500 but will sell this to MFK members for only $7,995. I may be willing to negotiate a little bit if I can sell the car before I put it up for sale on Craigslist (and will need to spend extra to get it detailed).
Please send me a PM with your name and contact number if interested to look and test drive. The MPV is located in Diamond Bar, CA 91765.
Thank you!
