So my 200g pond is complete and planted with vigorous growth but I'm trying to figure out max stocking. It is unfiltered (kind of), the waterfall/filter is on a timer that runs from 6pm to 2am. I built it for my mom and she does not want to redo her whole backyard timer system, so no continuous flow.
Right now I have 8 mountain cloud minnows in It. A paradise fish will be going in to remove most if not all mountain cloud offspring.
I would also like to add some rosy barbs and or American flag fish(yes they can handle the winter here). Is this possible and if so how many? Or will the pond not be able to handle it? 200-250 gallon, 6 foot by 4 foot surface dimension and 22inch max depth area.
