I am getting a 200gallon aquarium on friday after work. it is set up at the moment with fish in it. I have my roommate and girlfriend to help take it apart, it comes with stand, filters, lights everything. I read a 200Gallon is almost 350lbs empty! I'm gettin kinda nervous, I am bringing a 2wheeler dolly and some blankets and a pick up truck. any advice on moving and filling, tearing down one of these suckers?? once in my apartment (7 story concrete building 6th floor) I am getting renters insurance and starting to fill it a quarter a day. what to put in? I have right now a 12" female RD, a 6" Dovii male, 5RBP's, and a 55 Gallon african tank. I always wanted to get a tank big enough for my dovii and RD to live togethor, I think it would be possible but again 200gallons...I'd really like to plant it and have some various fish but with these two thats a no no. I dont know what else I would like to do with it. I cant afford 200gallons worth of live rock for a salt water, I want to do a bunch of fish, I want it to blow you away when you see all the life going on at once. but again I would like to try the dovii with my RD. she's 5yrs old and he's less than a year
any ideas, advice or experience with a tank and set up issues

all I can think of is dont drop it and figure out where you want it before you fill it and dont forget to call the insurance company

Well, congrats on the tank. 200 gallons would be fine for your dovii and RD. or you could get more RBP's and do a bad *** RBP tank:naughty:. then you could have your plants. the tank will probably weigh something like 2000LBS when all said and done, so dont forget the insurance:). cant wait to see what you do with it:popcorn:

Bring plenty of help. I would suggest at least four guys. My 190g was closer to 500 pounds empty. I hope you've got an elevator.

***EDITED TO ADD***

Go here and enter your dimensions and it will tell you how much everything weighs (tank, water, substrate, etc.).
