200 years ago America crossed the great lakes and pillaged Toronto, then began several attempts to capture southern Ontario in an effort to annex the province and defy the British. we Canadians showed America the flaw of attempting to invade the true north strong and free, beating back 95% of American forces despite being outnumbered 7 to 1 in most cases, plus we Canadians with a little Iroquois help captured Michigan and fort Detroit without even firing a shot. This all cumulated in a humiliating defeat for America as the white house burned to the ground, but thankfully for America Britain and Canadian militia put more effort then thought necessary into the war and Britain decided to stop seizing American ships and trade. thus ending the first war America had ever declared

Umm... ok

No one in America remembers or cares... Sorry its the only war Canada ever fought...

really, it's the war your beloved USS Constitution was constructed for. America doesn't really care because of 4 reasons

1: Britain didn't rub your face in the fact like has happened with almost every single war involving major world powers, since you were seen as a spoiled brat young country trying to make a point.
2: the white house was destroyed and occupied, nobody wants to hear that their countries political center was under foreign control.
3: America actually started this war themselves instead of coming to the rescue like they appear in other wars.
4: despite a massive numerical advantage in almost every single land battle your forces were utterly destroyed by better trained and more determined Canadian militia, first nations warriors, and a scattering of redcoats.

an American education!...propagandized from the get-go.
Hahaha no kidding.
I'm pretty sure a lot of Americans actually do know about the war, as they should...
Also, Canada has been in every major war the U.S has been in, aside from Vietnam, which was a "police action" haha

So you're trying to make up for 200 years of the lack of rubbing it in?

I'm with the who cares crowd
