I am in pretty bad need of a few heaters that are 200w+ or better for both of my tanks. I need them pretty cheap so help an MFK'er out with a deal if possible. The 225g in the garage is loosing temp quickly with the cold weather right now. Currently I have a 400w & 200w (other 400w busted) and they are not keeping up. :wall:

I don't have much to trade but let me know if your looking for anything to trade as well. Fish, pumps etc...

didn't you just recently sell two 250w jager heaters for $10 each? if the answer is YES, then this is the appropriate time to say...... "aint that a *****''!? sorry bro. i feel for you. I've done the same thing before. :irked:

Yeah I just sold some. Thought I was all good because I had just sent up the two 400w with a spare 200w. After the 400w popped on me I'm hosed.

The worst part is the wife is all about the "I told you so" cuz she said maybe hang onto those.... I just can't win bro.

Have you tried insulating the garage tanks ?? I had a 300 gal in the garage and wrapped it with pink foam from home depot and it stayed at 80 degrees all winter with a single 300 watt heater. Worked great for me and it's a great winter fix.

I had a similar situations with my garage tank, I just let out some water until my tank could sustain 80 degree temp. Just a quick tempory fix for your heating problem.

Good idea but I can't, overflow tower/sump combination. Thank you though.

a couple blankets over your tank will fix that, its all i do to my garage tanks.

Those are good suggestions, I will try that tonight. I really appreciate you guys giving me some advice even in a WTB add. That's cool of you. :D
