2010 FISHING SEASON BEGINS!!!!!

i just went fishing on sunday march 7, still ice all over the place and i live in central Jersey! just a few chubs for now and soon moving onto the big boys :headbang2 cant wait to go to the beach and get the surf rods out!!!!

Where are you fishing at in NJ? I just got my first fish today in the D&R canal along rt one!
 
ahhah na ah! i was fishing at rosedale lake still frozen over watchu catch?
 
Rosedale is one my favorte shore spot!

I landed a small CP on a ratttle trap and let a small bass get off at Mill pond in Plainsboro.
 
cool ahha im going back to rosedale this weekend already got stuff planned out o nice bass on that link u had and the oscars are real nice

I actually take a picture of every single fish I catch too. In a few years ill have thousands upon thousands of pictures of every fish I've ever caught since I started keeping track. The pictures make for a great coffee table book, plus I can gloat


I'm hoping to catch some gar this year. Its been a few years since I've caught one around here, and I've only ever caught were small ones the biggest not much over 1 foot. Gar are a rarity here nowadays.


Nothing like reeling the gar in, unhooking and tossing him back, only for him to bite your hook again! I've literally caught the same fish 3 times back to back!

Gars are all bite and no brains.

lol yea i gota get a camera cuz right now all i do is take piscs with my fone and its ok but not great i wana catch a garrr..
