2011 SOUTH FLORIDA FISHING THREAD - PICS AND HOT SPOTS

Please allow me to start a South FL fishing thread for pics and, if some are willing, hot spots for fishing native and the more desired, non-native fish.

Here's the first post of thread...

Went fishing in a friend's backyard...a very favorite spot of mine...today.

40 minutes and 12 shiners later:

If it was not a private gated community with 24/7 gate guards I would share this location. Even if I did no one can get in without knowing someone in the community. Unless you want to get arrested for trespassing haha.

That's why this lake is teaming with pbass. It's not fishing in there. It is alot more like catching haha.

I'll take ya next time you're down if my friend is around to let us in.

Also went fishing for clown knives. Didn't see any. That location is lake Ida. Heard there was a few left from the cold snap.

Dang those are some nice pbass. been wanting to try for those and some oscars. and ill have to check out that lake ida sometime. giant clowns would be a nice catch. All ive been catching is catfish and a few crappie lately.

Pond there lol. Told you it is not fishing. It is catching. Hahaha. They are everywhere and what bad about the place is you have to watch your bait so the large mouth bass won't take it. Unfortunately the large mouth population is just as large there. Catch a few 2#s large mouth by mistake lol. Not one shiner was wasted let's put it that way. If you have 100 shiners you still won't be able to catch all the Pbass there hahaha
