I'm looking for some sort of predator or oddball that I can put into my 20g for life. I find things such as butterfly fish, panchax killifish and dwarf pikes interesting but am not sure if they are too big for the tank or not. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance for any and all replies!

Mini isn't really the right word. I think they grow to around 18 inches, but I could be thinking of a different species.
I've never been a huge fan of puffers but I'll look into them anyhow, thanks for the reply! Any other ideas anyone?
pike live bearer may do fine as it only grows 5 inches I believe, 20 high isn't a very ideal tank for oddballs, a butterfly wouldn't work (they need more space, 30 ga minimum I think maybe more), may be too small for a pickerel.
Exodons may work, aka bucktooth tetra, max size 3 inches, id say 6 in there max. they are preds and can be fierce if you have enough of them
